You will need to complete the Functional Anatomy training if you are completing the Mat, Reformer, or comprehensive certification, which can be done online by clicking here.
-
Yes, to receive your certification, you will need to complete both Reformer or Mat weekends and test out with Ellie Herman.
-
To observe and practice at Thrive, you may observe classes for free with permission from the instructor and the studio manager, and rent the space for self practice and practice teaching for $12 per hour. Practice times must be coordinated in advance with management.
-
No, we recommend taking these classes at Thrive or at Ellie’s studio in Narberth in conjunction with the training.
-
Assuming these are not prohibitive of you moving around the space, standing up to teach and practicing the exercises (with modifications), absolutely! Many people enter Pilates Teacher training programs to learn to manage their injuries/imbalances.
